Note from Michele:

Just in case there is any confusion, I am only engaged to one man. I know, I know..... the blog says Michele Hearts Christopher while I keep calling him Marcus. Well, due to a small identity crisis in the 8th grade, my fiance started going by his middle name. Actually, he did this because there were far too many Chrises following the rise of Kris Kross. :) In any case, formally, I address him as Chris, but on a regular basis he is Marcus to me.

The Reception

The reception will take place after the ceremony at the vineyard. Dinner will be prepared by Executive Chef Johnathan Boroughs. The menu:

Salad Course

Option #1 - Grilled Romaine Hearts wrapped in Proscuitto de Parma and topped with a Parmesan Vinaigrette.

Option #2 - Baby Spinach Salad with Feta Cheese, Pine Nuts, Mandarin Orange Segments with a Citrus-Ginger Dressing.

Entree Course:

Option #1 - Baked Flounder Stuffed with Jumbo Lump Crabmeat, Artichoke Ragout, Fried Leeks and Parsley Veloute.

Option #2 - Grilled New York Strip with Jumbo Shrimp served with Goat Cheese Mashed Potatoes and Morel Sauce.

Each course will be perfectly paired with a complimenting wine chosen by Veritas's sommelier. Please make your selections on the RSVP card by marking the initials of the person who is to receive the salad and entree respectively. (Just a little suggestion.... choose the opposite item as your mate so that you can try them both!)
